Jim-Corbett
The Jim Corbett National Park is a protected area in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. It is located in the Nainital district, and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park. It is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, which includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and the Reserve Forest areas. The park covers an area of 520.8 km2, and is about 16 km from Ramnagar. The park has diverse flora and fauna, and is home to the endangered Bengal tiger. It is one of the thirteen protected areas covered under the Project Tiger initiative.
